nipple piercing

I believe this image is from a french Vogue magazine. Erin Wasson's piercing looks both sophisticated and elegant. Nipple piercings are always in style by my count. Check out Erin's jewelry line Low Lov.

white lies

Mia turned me on to White Lies a couple of months ago. I really like them because they remind me of Duran Duran mixed with Morrissey. Enjoy!

book of mormon musical

Because I'm originally from Utah, of course I had to go see The Book of Mormon Musical on Broadway, written by the creators of South Park.
I was actually raised as a Jehovah's Witness which is even weirder than being Mormon. Needless to say, I out grew religion at an early age although I did go through an embarrassing Hare Krishna faze in my early 20's. Anyways...go see it, its a good excuse to get dressed up, head uptown and act like an asshole.
If you wanna know more about the Mormon religion check out the creepy "banned" cartoon I dug up. It kind of makes me wanna be a Mormon.

*J.C.S. disclaimer
Dear Mormon friends, your religion isn't any weirder than the other ones. Only love and respect!

la petite protector

This working 5 shot pistol ring was produced (french) in the 1800's, it was dubbed "la petite protector" and was once the smallest killing device ever developed. In reality “if it were fired, the smoke, flames, and noise would be considerable. The muzzle velocity would probably be so low that the powder burn would be worse than the bullet”. I bet you would never see it coming, kapow!!!!

dr lakra

I had a chance to visit the Dr Lakra exhibit @ The Drawing Center in NY w/ my friend Leah. I'm a big fan of his work and wanted to share it with you. The show's up till April 23rd. If you find yourself in SOHO and not sure what to do, here you go. I promised Leah lots of boners but it was mostly just vagina and butt hole. :)

throat tattoo

I have either reached celebrity status or rock bottom. Its a thin line I'm walking these days. I made the 1st page/ 5th image of Google search when you type in "throat tattoo". Shouldn't I receive some type of award? No one has contacted me yet. Also who is that babe next to me, not transformer but the other one, if u know her tell her to call me. :) She kind of looks like Winny Parnes. haha.
Below is the original photo taken by Thomas Hooper. My throat tattoo is one of the few I own that I actually still like, it was a collaborative piece done by Jondix and Thomas Hooper. The Script was done separately by Katja Ramirez.

love, adorned

Some of you may or may not know that we are currently renovating New York Adorned. She has been a fixture of Manhattan's East Village since 1996 and my home for almost 6 years. That's a long time in tattoo/ piercing years. Many touch ups and cover ups (see what i did there?) have been done over the years but never a overhaul like this one. We are looking forward to the new digs. We are currently sharing space with our beautiful sister store; Love, Adorned. Its been great getting to know her ship mates; Vincent, Johanna, Paul and Jo. Stop in and see me @ Loved and I'll show you around. Adorned is irrefutable proof of evolution.

How cute are these guys? Cristina and Lindsay got matching "birthday best friend tragus piercings". I had a great time hanging with these two. Did I mention, I love my job? I know, it's a tough life I live.

blu and david ellis

This video has been floating around the internet for a while, so I'm sorry if its old news to you. I rediscovered it recently, and found it just as entertaining the second time around. There are newer videos of Blu's stop motion creations, check them out if you have time.
