lunar eclipse/ winter solstice 2010
I have always been fascinated with "out space". Tonight is a lunar eclipse; "Its is the first time in 372 years that a lunar eclipse also marks the beginning of the winter solstice, the time at which the sun is at its southernmost point in the sky", according to my friend Charlene. That sounds like a pretty big deal to me. I'm about to head up to my rooftop to witness this momentous event in the crispy New York cold. Happy Winter Solstice everyone!
